Weather and sea conditions can change a boat trip. Many tours can be cancelled free up to 24 hours before departure – the booking page shows the terms for each one.
Boats leave from Ibiza Town, Sant Antoni, Santa Eulària and Playa d’en Bossa, and the best-known spots can be a long way apart. We name the departure point and say when a transfer or a car is the more practical choice.

By sea. The fast ferry from Ibiza Town to La Savina on Formentera takes roughly half an hour, and several operators sail in summer. The listings here also include day trips by boat or sailing yacht with swim stops, and ferry tickets from Playa d’en Bossa, Figueretas, Santa Eulària and Sant Antoni – check the departure port, because crossings from those ports can take longer.
Not from one harbour. The listings show departures from Ibiza Town, Sant Antoni, Santa Eulària and Playa d’en Bossa. Look at the meeting point before comparing prices, and ask yourself how you will get there.
No. Es Vedrà and its neighbouring islets are a protected nature reserve, and landing is not allowed. Boats may sail around it, and several tours here are built around that view, usually at sunset.
The big clubs run a summer season, not a year-round one. In 2026 the major venues opened in late April and closed between late September and mid-October. A club pass or a party boat only makes sense inside that window.
It depends on the listing. Some boats and guided jet-ski rides state that no licence is needed, others say a licence is required. The booking page is the only reliable source – and for rentals also check the age limit and what the deposit or fuel terms are.
One base from which everything is close. Es Vedrà in the south-west, the Santa Eulària coast in the east and Formentera across the water are far apart, so the departure town matters as much as the tour. Note also that some of the cheapest listings are beach shuttle boats, not guided tours.
